Thanks :)

I currently trying to figure out how to use the same object (the car) in multiple scenes (the garage and the track)... I haven't had much time to play around with it since I made that youtube video because of work, but I hope I at some point will be able to be strong enough in unity to be able to help out with SR3.

Yeah it's possible to have pretty good idea of what effect it will have with out math. Physics don't really change but, the cars do.  :P It helps to have experience riding any thing wheels since the age of 4 and come from a family of mechanics and hot rodders.

How ever there books out there like "How to Make Your Car Handle: Better Handling, Safety and Performance" That explain the science and math.

This is one reason I like simcade, fairly or really close to the real thing with out needing millions of dollar or hours of program and research and development. Sometimes with all that simulation racing games aren't that much more accurate. sometimes wildly inaccurate like need for speed shift. (Grant it they market it as a simulator though it's far from)

Every so often, usually when I'm driving around, I'll see a discarded hubcap or a chunk of a bumper laying in the gutter or on the sidewalk. What if you could find twisted exhaust pipes, torn-up exhaust pipes, and the occasional bumper or car wheel while exploring the city?

Hello again everyone  :)

I am trying to learn my way around the unity engine and I just wanted to share a video of
my progress in doing that...

sorry about the short video, but the screen recording software is buggy

the car is a 1972 Mercury Monterey 2DR:

I have permission from its original author to use it.

For example, is it really possible to know the effect of a mod in real life?
...No? /s

Being serious, there's probably some large amount of math involved in estimating and/or simulating the effects of a mod.

I've found the "Pop the Hood" videos on YouTube.  The garage scene looks very far along, at least.  Is there any news?  I'm currently in a computer science diploma program with access to Unity and 3D StudioMax (as well as Blender and the stuff I had before), so I might be able to push it along.
