General Talk / Re: What car handling do you prefer in games?

sorry for jumping into an old thread guys, don't think I have been back on in the last year.  But i would definitely only go for simcade or simulation handling.  with gta iv as a minimum and forza 4 as a good middle ground.  Really hoping to see this project of the ground :)

wow, havent been on here for ages, this is awesome work mate! when you are designing these are you doing them in separate parts so as the engine may be pulled down and rebuilt, or only as a single design just from the ground up but unable to remove say the rocker covers or heads?

Personally I'd like to see SR3 stick with the old newspaper style of SR1 & 2. A tidy black and white list with name, small amount of info, price, and a button to click to see a small 3D preview of the part.

Is this thread about your in garage parts list or the buying of parts?  If its buying parts i second this venomous!
But if its just the parts list as in the clipboard in the garage than a 2d pic with 3d preview and info is my choice :)

Ok I didn't think that they were planned but when i read it from the list with "Planned" beside it I guess I took it the wrong way.

69      1971    Chevrolet       HQ Monaro       Planned

I'm not even really sure what you're trying to say.

As for common cars: I think it would be worth checking the common-ness of imported cars (significantly rarer IRL and in-game at the time, but an interesting break from hefty domestics of the time).

Im saying sweet that a HQ Monaro is planned have only ever seen one in any game ;)

sorry to hit onto an old thread, but just got thinking about the perfect gearshifts, was there, dynos back in the 70's? Just if you could dyno your car and see where your particular setup makes peak torque then you would know when to make the perfect shift or when you are just revving the car and losing the torque curve. (maybe you have to go to a shop and pay a fair ammount of money to use their dyno, kinda like real life really ha!)

Hey guys,
Im pretty sure i was a member here a few years back and i have stopped in to check on the progress over the last few years, just wondering where i can find the last version of the old game to download and will it run on 64bit win 7?  Im very excited to see development once again underway!!!! Do I need a paypal account to donate (i dont have or really want one) is there a direct deposit option?  And one last one does anyone know where i can get a working emulated version of sr2 for amiga, I have tracked down a dos version but just miss the graphics of the amiga version, last time im pretty sure i got it from your old site?
