another source worth looking at aside form youtube might be udemy. i know i've bought as well as found free courses on game engine like UE and Unity. i think they have free tutorials for Blender.

Indeed. Try out the Offline version and then imagine that you'd be able to do most events with other players.

i like to drive around in GTA more often then not sometimes i piddle around in need for speed carbon and most wanted form time to time. if i under stand correctly NFS world had different events players could participate in.
